Terms and Conditions Last updated: June 2026

Park City Fire Protection ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") provides residential fire sprinkler inspection and backflow prevention testing services in Summit and Wasatch County, Utah. By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Services — Scope and Limitations

All inspection services are conducted in general accordance with NFPA 25, Standard for the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems, and reflect conditions observed at the time of service only. Inspections are limited to visible and accessible components; concealed piping, fittings, valves, or devices behind finished walls, ceilings, or otherwise obstructed areas are not inspected.

2. No Warranty or Guarantee

Inspection reports do not constitute a warranty, guarantee, or certification of system performance, and do not include design verification, hydraulic calculations, code compliance review, or engineering analysis. System conditions may change after the date of inspection due to use, environmental factors, or system activity.

3. Backflow Prevention Testing

Backflow prevention testing is performed in accordance with applicable Utah state requirements and manufacturer specifications. Test results reflect device performance at the time of testing only and do not constitute a guarantee of future performance.

4. Deficiencies and Corrective Action

Any deficiencies identified during an inspection or test should be evaluated and corrected by a licensed contractor in a timely manner. Park City Fire Protection does not perform installation, repair, or modification services. Identification of a deficiency does not imply that Park City Fire Protection is responsible for remediation.

5. Third-Party Reliance

Inspection and test reports are intended solely for the use of the property owner or authorized representative identified in the report. Reports shall not be relied upon by any third party — including but not limited to insurers, lenders, buyers, or regulatory agencies — without the written consent of Park City Fire Protection.

6. Limitation of Liability

Park City Fire Protection assumes no liability for conditions that were not visible, accessible, or reasonably discoverable at the time of inspection or testing. Our liability is limited to the fee paid for the service rendered. In no event shall Park City Fire Protection be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.

7. Scheduling, Cancellations, and Payment

Appointments may be scheduled by phone or through this website. We request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Returned checks or failed payments may be subject to an additional processing fee.
